Sarah Wheatley | COUNSELLING & PSYCHOTHERAPY

Sarah of Birth and Beyond provides experience psychological support during pregnancy, birth and throughout parenthood. Becoming a parent involves many adjustments and unexpected surprises and Sarah provides psychotherapy, counselling, and parent-infant therapies to help parents negotiate any difficulties. She works with people experiencing infertility, baby loss, anxiety, depression, anger, birth or feeding trauma, bonding difficulties, relationship and identity issues. Sarah also works with Juno Perinatal Mental Health Support supporting women with perinatal mental health issues and has worked with the Scottish Government and appeared on BBC Radio 4 Woman’s Hour. Anne Nash | PREGNANCY & BABY MASSAGE

Anne of Edinburgh Baby Massage and Edinburgh Lady Massage offers a gentle, relaxed atmosphere to learn this wonderful, lifelong skill of massage.
She works  from her home with homebaking, in front of the fire in small, informal classes. A complimentary massage for mum is included with each course booked.
As a trained midwife and massage therapist, Anne combines these skills and specialises in pregnancy and postnatal massage. Contact Anne here.
 

Kathryn Lawrence |THE DAISY FOUNDATION EDINBURGH

Kathryn set up The Daisy Foundation Edinburgh  in 2014 to provide continuous perinatal support, and she helps parents to positively prepare for birth and gain confidence on their journey into parenthood. Kathryn is passionate about community, helping expectant and new parents to connect and support each other. She is also a facilitator of Positive Birth Edinburgh and trained baby wearing peer supporter. Kathryn teaches weekly antenatal classes, birth preparation workshops and weekly baby classes and postnatal groups to help navigate the early months with baby. Contact Kathryn here.

Emma Reid |EMPLOYMENT LAW

Emma is a solicitor specialising in employment law with the firm Ergo Law. Women can be particularly vulnerable in the workplace during pregnancy and maternity and on returning to work. Emma’s aim is to provide advice which is compassionate and supportive; clear and considered and give women the representation they need to have their voice heard in these circumstances.  Contact Emma here.
 

Georgie McCulloch | REFLEXOLOGY 

Georgie of Fertility and Pregnancy Edinburgh an experienced reflexologist who has worked with pregnant mums in Edinburgh for over 17 years. She loves supporting women on their pregnancy journey, from pre-conception right throughout pregnancy, birth and the post-natal period. Maternity reflexology can ease all sorts of pregnancy related conditions in all three trimesters, and allows you to experience deep relaxation. Vicky Pittman | CHIROPRACTIC 

Vicky of Morningside Chiropractic is a chiropractor who specialises in the assessment and treatment of women both during and after pregnancy. She enjoys helping to alleviate any associated aches and pains, often by improving the mechanics of the joints of the back and pelvis as well as the surrounding muscles and ligaments, using gentle specific hands on techniques. Sabrina Severo | PILATES 
Sabrina of The Pilates Studio Edinburgh is a Holistic Exercise Specialist and fully qualified Personal Trainer with twenty years of experience in exercise prescription and sports conditioning training. Her expertise lies in helping clients to recover from acute injuries, “Pre and Post Natal exercise programmes” and maintain good health and body conditioning.  She believes exercise can ensure life-long health, fitness and general well-being through prescribing the most appropriate exercise programme that satisfies individual needs, and takes into consideration the individuals likes and dislikes. Clients past experiences are also considered in order to ensure the achievement of a healthier and fitter lifestyle.  Classes are offered in formats of: Mother & Baby Post- Natal Pilates, Pre -Natal Pilates, Private or Semi-Private in the Fully Equipped Pilates Studio in Portobello. Emma Shields | CLAY FOOT & HAND PRINTS 

Looking to create a lasting memory? Pottyemma is a local potter who is very experienced in taking clay hand and foot imprints from babies. Clay captures little hands and feet from a few days old. Pottyemma is happy to provide a home visit at no extra cost. As well as a range of clay products, there is also a range of silver fingerprint jewellery available. Rachel Hein | RACHEL HEIN PHOTOGRAPHY 
Rachel of Rachel Hein Photography has been photographing Edinburgh families since 2010 and particularly enjoys working with young children & babies. Her style is candid and natural and she’s very experienced at making people feel at ease in front of the camera. Tricia Murray | THERAPIST, COACH, DOULA

Tricia Murray is a Therapist, Coach and Doula. She works mainly with women who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious or stressed out around fertility, birth, and motherhood and want to feel calmer and more in control. She also supports mums and dads who have experienced birth or perinatal trauma. Tricia provides support through community programmes, one to one therapy and coaching support, online courses and workshops. She is Founder of the Birth and Baby Academy and Co-Founder of Juno Perinatal Mental Health Support. Contact Tricia here.

Jo Worrall | FIRST AID/ CPR TRAINER

Jo of Twist Training Ltd has been a trainer for 15+ years and is passionate about first aid. She works with parents/grandparents, nurseries, and businesses. She also works with families concentrating on issues that are pertinent to their heath, such as diabetes, epilepsy and anaphylaxis.
